CEE Financing Process
Center for Energy and Environment (CEE) is a local nonprofit that offers solar financing solutions for Minnesota Homeowners. These financing solutions will help make your transition to solar energy easier and more affordable. Follow these straightforward steps to secure the financing you need for your solar installation project.
What to expect
Step 1: Complete Agreement with Centauri
Start your journey to solar energy by finalizing a solar installation agreement with us. This agreement outlines the terms and conditions of your solar installation, ensuring that all parties are aligned on the project scope, costs, and timelines.
Step 2: Fill Out CEE Application
Next, complete the application form provided by CEE. This application gathers necessary details about your project and financial status to assess eligibility and determine the best financing options available for your solar installation.
Step 3: Receive Welcome Email
After signing the agreement, you will receive a welcome email from CEE. This email will provide you with essential information about the financing process, next steps, and how CEE will support you throughout the application.
Step 4: Upload Documents
After loan approval, work with CEE’s loan officers to sign the loan agreement and upload necessary documents. These documents may include identification, financial records, and project details, allowing CEE to process your application efficiently and accurately. Loan approval is subject to credit and program guidelines.

CEE loans are available to residents of the state of Minnesota. Several cities have special rates that may save you even more!

Please be aware that most, if not all of these City or Minneapolis NRP Neighborhood programs pay at completion of the project.
