Every project is designed around the house it sits on. Tyler’s is a 14.8 kW roof mounted array in Afton, 37 REC 400W panels set in March 2023 in the middle of one of the worst winters Minnesota has had in years. He has not had an electricity bill since.

A roof mount put Tyler’s array on surface he was not using anyway, with no footprint in the yard. It also meant the crew was up there in February. They shoveled the roof clear and set the panels anyway.

Two or three days start to finish, then the wait for Xcel. Tyler figured the conduit would run straight up the wall, and said nothing. He came out later to find it hidden around the corner. The harder run, done unasked, on a house he was not watching.
