Why did you choose solar?

"We had three main reasons to go solar. First was to do our part in conserving our natural resources to produce our electricity. If each of us did our own part when possible, the broad spectrum of needs would decrease. Secondly would be the constant increase in electric rates. The writing is on the wall that these rates are never going down. They will only continue to rise. Going solar eventually will suspend our electric bill. Thirdly we felt that the technology of the solar equipment has finally reached a point where it is worth considering. The equipment has become more affordable and more dependable."

What was your buying process like?

"Our process was fairly short. We met with a representative to give him our current electric costs. They were entered into the spreadsheet that generated a cost analysis to go along with our project proposal. The information from these very interesting spreadsheets made the decision a no-brainer in our minds. We could eliminate our electric bill in less years than we had anticipated."

Why did you choose Centauri?

"Centauri Systems came highly recommended. We did some minor research. All of the reviews were positive. All of the positive experiences that we had with them so far were consistent with what we had been reading about them. It was an easy decision, especially since they were the most cost effective with the best equipment offered."

Is your system producing at the estimated rate?

"The first month we had our system it out produced our usage. That is exactly what we were looking for. It has actually performed a little above the quoted expectations."

How was the installation process?

"Our installation was a difficult one. We chose to go with a ground mount. We had very difficult soil for them to drill and mount into. They experienced some difficulties with drilling the anchors in, but Centauri took it all in stride. They improvised and made everything work seamlessly. Never once did they come to us and complain, they simply made the proper adjustments and made it work. Very professional and thorough. It is a huge benefit that there are no subs on their jobsite. The owners of the company are onsite doing the work or engaging in the work. Decisions are made along the way to confirm the fact that the quality of the finished product will be the best that it can be."

"I would absolutely recommend Centauri to a neighbor. Their quality of workmanship, professionalism and communication was second to none. They came highly recommended to us and we would do the same for others. They are the cheapest but yet install the best equipment on the market with the highest quality of workmanship. No reason not to have them install your solar system."
