Why did you choose solar?
Brian's electric bill was running around $280 a month on a roof with no shade, which made his home a strong candidate. He wanted two things: a system with a monthly payment lower than what he was paying the utility, and a charger for an electric car. Doing both at once meant the car would charge off the same sunshine that powers the house.
What was your buying process like?
Brian got estimates from three companies. As a teacher, he could not take calls during the school day, so he needed an installer who would work on his schedule. Is your system producing at the estimated rate?
Yes, and the car is charging off the sun. Brian's own words: "Install looks great and the system is working exactly as promised."
How was the installation process?
We installed the solar array, a Level 2 EV charger and a new 90A subpanel all on the same day. At Brian's request, we placed the array higher on the roof so it stays clear of the gutters. The system includes Solar Insure coverage and consumption monitoring. When he needed an itemized invoice for the charger later, our team sent it the same day.
