Most of what we write about is roofs, panels, and Minnesota winters. This one is different. On Saturday, October 24, 2026, Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) is holding its fall Gala in Minneapolis, and Centauri Systems is proud to be a Gold Sponsor.

The FMSC Gala at a Glance
FMSC describes its galas as a chance to gather with the FMSC community, fund meals, and introduce others to the work. Registration for the Gala has closed, but you can still help feed kids by giving directly to FMSC.
What Feed My Starving Children Does
Feed My Starving Children is a Minnesota-based nonprofit. Its model is simple. Donations pay for the ingredients, volunteers hand-pack the meals, and FMSC ships them to distribution partners around the world who serve communities for the long haul.

Why We Said Yes
We are a Minnesota company. Our crews work on Minnesota roofs and our customers live in Minnesota neighborhoods. When a Minnesota organization is doing work that is easy to understand and easy to get behind, saying yes does not take long.
A big part of our job is explaining things plainly and earning trust over a long period. That is the same reason FMSC’s model appeals to us: what you give goes toward a clear result, and volunteers can see it with their own hands.
Sponsoring the Gala is one way we put some of what we earn from this community back into it. Nothing flashy. We just believe a business that works here should also show up here. How You Can Get Involved
You do not need to attend a Gala to help.
- Give. Donate directly to FMSC through its donation page.
- Volunteer. FMSC welcomes individuals and groups, such as friends, families, businesses, schools, and churches, to pack meals. Reservations are required, and you can find times on the FMSC volunteer page.
- Spread the word. Tell a coworker, a neighbor, or your congregation about the Gala.
